UTHSAC ABORIGINAL HEALTH WORKER
Our Aboriginal Health Workers act as a cultural interface between clients and GP's, and are essential in ensuring culturally appropriate treatment and care. In addition to being medically trained, our Aboriginal Health Workers know their communities and help communicate best practice services between client and doctor and /nursing services make clients feel more comfortable, and doctors get the best information about clients.
